# Frequently Asked Questions for Love Story Roleplay

  <Accordion title="How do I join the server?">
    To join Love Story Roleplay you need three things: a legitimate copy of **GTA V**, the **FiveM** client installed on your PC, and an approved **whitelist application**. Once your application is approved, you'll receive a Discord role with access to `#server-info`, which contains the current server connection details.   <Accordion title="Is the server free to play?">
    Yes, if you are vouched. If you are not vouched you must pay for whitelist, you can use any creator code "nay" for a discount off whitelist purchases — playing on Love Story Roleplay is completely free. However, **GTA V must be purchased separately** through the Rockstar Launcher, Steam, or the Epic Games Store. FiveM itself is also free to download and install.

  <Accordion title="What do I do if I'm stuck or encounter a bug?">
    For urgent in-game issues — such as being stuck in terrain, a broken mission, or a server-side bug affecting your session — use the **/report** command in-game to alert online staff immediately. For non-urgent bugs or issues that can wait, open a support ticket in the `#support` channel on Discord and describe the problem in as much detail as possible.

  <Accordion title="Can I have multiple characters?">
    Yes. Each account supports up to **3 characters**. You can create and switch between characters from the character selection screen when you connect. Keep in mind that each character must have a distinct identity — reusing the same backstory across multiple characters is not permitted.

  <Accordion title="What happens if I get banned?">
    If you receive a ban, you can submit a formal appeal through the `#ban-appeals` channel in Discord. Use the pinned template when writing your appeal and provide as much context as you can. Note that ban appeals require a cooldown period to have passed before they'll be reviewed, and repeated or severe violations may result in a permanent ban with no appeal pathway.

  <Accordion title="Is voice chat required?">
    Yes. A working **microphone is required** to play on Love Story Roleplay. Voice roleplay is central to the immersive experience the server is built around, and text-only play is not supported. Make sure your microphone is configured correctly in FiveM's audio settings before connecting for the first time.

  <Accordion title="What mods are allowed on the server?">
    Only **visual mods** that do not affect gameplay are permitted. This includes reshade presets and graphics enhancement packs. Any mod that alters game mechanics, provides a gameplay advantage, or functions as a trainer (such as Menyoo or Simple Trainer) is strictly prohibited and may result in a permanent ban. When in doubt, don't use it — ask in `#support` first.

    * **Urgent situations** (active rule breaks, harassment mid-session): use the **/report** command in-game. Describe what's happening and include the player's name. Online staff will respond as quickly as possible.
    * **Non-urgent reports** (after the fact, pattern of behaviour, evidence-based): open a ticket in the `#support` channel on Discord. Attach any screenshots or video clips you have to support your report.

    Events are announced in the `#announcements` channel on Discord ahead of time. Most scheduled events take place on **weekends**, though special storyline events and spontaneous staff-run scenarios can happen any day. Follow `#announcements` and `#looking-for-rp` to stay up to date.

  <Accordion title="Can I stream Love Story Roleplay on Twitch or YouTube?">
    Yes, streaming is welcome and encouraged! Before you go live, make sure you're familiar with the **chat conduct rules** — your viewers are considered an extension of your public presence on the server, and any rule-breaking facilitated or encouraged through your stream reflects on your account. Enable **streamer mode** in FiveM settings to protect sensitive UI information from appearing on screen while you broadcast.

    For security and stability, the server connection details are not published publicly. Once your whitelist application is approved, check the `#server-info` channel in Discord for the current IP address and direct connection instructions. If you've lost access to that channel, open a ticket in `#support`.
