Every action in Love Story RP is driven by a set of slash commands you type directly into your chat window. Learning these commands is one of the most important steps toward immersive, high-quality roleplay — they let you express your character’s actions, communicate with other players, and manage your in-game life with ease. Roleplay Commands

These commands form the backbone of in-character (IC) storytelling. Use them to narrate actions, describe the environment, and interact with the world around you.
Displays a third-person action message visible to nearby players. Use this to express what your character is physically doing.Tips for great /me usage:
  • Be descriptive but concise — paint a picture without writing a novel.
  • Always write in third person (your character’s name is implied).
  • Avoid using /me to claim outcomes you haven’t agreed on with the other player (e.g., /me knocks the gun out of your hand without consent).
Describes something in the surrounding environment rather than a character action. Perfect for setting the scene or revealing information about objects and locations.Use /do to describe things that other players’ characters could realistically observe — smells, sounds, the state of an object, or ambient details that enrich the scene.
Attempts an action and randomly determines whether your character succeeds or fails. This is great for adding unpredictability to roleplay scenarios.The server rolls a random outcome and displays either a success or failure result to nearby players. Always roleplay the result honestly — ignoring a failed /try is considered poor form and may violate server rules.
Holds up an item from your inventory for nearby players to see, triggering a visible notification that your character is presenting something.You must have the item in your inventory for this command to work. Law enforcement players often use this to display badges or warrants during RP interactions.

Communication Commands

These commands let you talk to other players and the wider world in various ways — from private whispers to city-wide tweets.
/ooc should only be used for genuine out-of-character needs (e.g., checking if someone is okay after an intense scene, or a quick technical question). Excessive OOC chat breaks immersion for everyone around you and may result in a staff warning.
Use /tweet creatively to build your character’s public persona — post news, gossip, business announcements, or drama to engage the whole server community.

Player & Character Commands

These commands help you manage your character’s information and access core features like your inventory and phone.
Always have your /id ready when contacting staff via /report. It helps them locate you instantly and resolve issues faster.

Utility Commands

These commands handle behind-the-scenes needs — reaching out to staff, requesting help in-character, or flagging your availability.
Sends a confidential message to all online staff members. Use this to report rule-breakers, bugs, or any situation that requires staff intervention.Be as detailed as possible — include player IDs, a brief description of what happened, and your location in the city. Reports are logged and reviewed by the moderation team.
