Great roleplay depends on everyone respecting the same standards. This page covers the four pillars that keep scenes fair, believable, and immersive: Fail RP, Powergaming, Metagaming, and Fear RP.

Fail RP

  1. No breaking character to complain or call rules mid-scene.
  2. Must use proper /me and /do interactions where required.
  3. No intentional disruption of RP flow.

Examples of Fail RP

  • “Stop VDMing me”
  • “I’m clipping this”
  • “You’re getting banned”
  • OOC interruptions mid-scene

Powergaming

  1. No abusing mechanics to escape RP.
  2. No entering interiors to avoid RP.
  3. No water diving or scuba abuse to escape law enforcement.
  4. No forcing unrealistic outcomes on other players.

Metagaming Rules

  1. No Discord RP communication.
  2. No stream sniping or using external info.
  3. No using IDs or overhead information.
  4. No OOC information used in RP (including voices).
  5. You may not identify staff outside RP context.
  6. If a character is killed (CK), you must start fresh — no “cousins” or reused identity loopholes.

Not limited to:

  • Discord Calls
  • Twitch Streams
  • Kick Streams
  • Youtube Videos
  • Phone Calls

Fear RP

Fearing for your life. [Example] If you are alone and 3 individuals hold you at gunpoint, you cannot escape without dying. You are not allowed to shoot if you are outnumbered, [even if you are brandishing a firearm].

1v1

In a 1v1 you can try and defend yourself or escape. You are not able to reach for a weapon if the other person is already threatening you with one.

2v1

In a 2v1 if you don’t have a weapon out you can try to escape (if you’re not held at gunpoint) but you cannot try to reach for a gun to protect yourself if they have one gun out.

3v1

In a 3v1 you must fear your life if there are any weapons out in the scene. You cannot try to escape at all.

Equal numbers

Anytime you and another party are equal to each other, meaning it is a 2v2 or 3v3, You can try to defend yourself or escape.

Aiming at police

At no point in time are you allowed to aim a gun at a police officer and demand he releases your gang member or friend.

Consequences for failing to Fear RP

If you are involved in a scene where you are being robbed and you fail to properly fear for your life, you will be pocket wiped, and all items will be transferred to the individual who attempted to rob you. Additionally, you will receive 500 comms for failure to fear.
